Wouldn't stay installed... kept popping up
Direct replacement was needed and this was better than what was originally installed on my shower door 10 years ago. Perfect fit! It keeps the water inside the shower as it should. Easy to remove and clean as well.
It works well. It's a little longer than what you need so that you can cut it with a hacksaw to the exact length. It takes some effort cutting through the metal part. Once cut to the proper length, it fits into the track perfectly. I have a large vinyl dual pane sliding door and it's heavy. You definitely need two strong people to lift up the door. I also installed new roller assemblies. With the new track and rollers, the door now slides with ease. Before, it was a struggle to open and close. The track comes in a large 8 foot heavy cardboard tube. Overall, I very happy the door is working properly. Time will tell how sturdy the track is.
Does not have holes drilled. Other than that it’s fine was shipped well
Have had it for awhile now. Wish I would have replaced old one years ago. Good videos on YouTube how to install.
Good overall fit with a the normal triming. Easy to install. Good packaging for shipping. Fast delivery.
Worked out perfectly. Only had to cut off an inch for a perfect fit. Slipped over existing rail with little effort.
I had a lot of trepidation replacing the track on the sliding door at the house I bought. The old track was cracked badly and you had to basically lift the door to get it to open or close or slide. I thought I would have to hire someone to replace it for me. We took the door out and found that the old track was broken in several places. This CBW track was a very similar replacement. It worked perfectly!! We cut it to size and it popped right in. Replaced the door wheels at the same time and the door glides like a charm now. Easy to open and close. The plastic feels a little flimsy but truthfully it is more sturdy than the old track, so I feel confident it will last for years to come. Ignore the dirt in the photos- I replaced this 4 weeks ago and it has been windy. After 4 weeks still opening smoothly!!
If you need a very tough screen then this is the product for you. Just be aware that it will not let as much light through as normal screening because of the thicker fibers that it is made out of.
Hard plastic, durable for sure, came shipped in a heavy tube. Zero complaints. Make sure to to use snipets to cut this length though.
Didnt know this happened but my sliding door plastic track warped from the sun or somethingOut of warranty and it would have costed way more for someone to repair it so I thought I'd do it myselfThis fit perfectly on the milgard double sliding door for one side. THey don't have one long enough to cover the entire track so that's the only problem. Luckily I'd rather just use one side then not have a side that works at all so this will do as long as it meets in the middle.Easy to take out with flat head screw driver and it just pops in using that same flat head
Just installed the 72" piece. I needed a 60" but that size was not available, so had to cut to fit. It rolls like a new door. I couldn't find the piece anywhere else, so these folks charge a premium. $88 for a piece of extruded plastic is silly, but what to do? It appears to be same thickness and material as my old one which lasted 30+ yrs, so I will update later if durability becomes an issue.
