Was easy to install, but was too flimsy and we had to buy a metal guard to go over it at extra expense. So was much more expensive in the long run. I don’t think it will last long so probably would not buy again.

There are a few reviews on here I noticed before buying this product stating that the cost price was too much. From a material perspective, I don't disagree. However if you are looking at this product you probably ran into the same scenario as I did. You have a patio slider that has a broken track and no clue what brand it is. Home Depot doesn't have this part...Lowes doesn't have this part and to my knowledge you can't just order this from most local hardware stores. Luckily I found this item on Amazon and was thrilled! Measurements were on point and fit like a glove and fixed my issue! Price didn't concern me, because it resolved my screen door issue and works like new!

Keep in mind that this threshold is not pre-drilled. So every screw dimples the metal and causes a gap in your weather seal. I did use it and adapted the seal for the dimpled screw spots. I even created my own counter-sink screw pilots and it still dimpled the metal. After all the adaptations I had to make, I do like it.

Good product, but expensive.

This threshold bridges the gap between a kitchen stone floor and a living room hardwood floor. It was selected because it comes in a longer length to fit a wide doorway.

This items is really difficult to find anywhere. I was going to give up when I found this one on Amazon. I have to cut it to fit my house door screen patio, but it works great. I don't think is a great value because the price is kind of too high for my taste, but it does do the job and the material is made of seems to be durable (I will update this if that is not the case). I hope I do not have to buy this again for a long time though. I just don't know that is worth the price yet. I will update this at a later date. So far though is great for my door.
