U Shaped Aluminum Door Bottom Sweep – 1-3/8″ U-Wrap Weather Seal, Black or White, 32″ & 36″

U Shaped Aluminum Door Bottom Sweep for Exterior & Interior Doors

Seal the gap beneath your door with this U Shaped Aluminum Door Bottom Sweep, designed to provide a secure wraparound fit while helping reduce drafts and exposure through the bottom of the door. The durable aluminum U-shaped profile combines with a flexible bottom seal to create a practical weather-sealing solution for residential and commercial door applications.

Available in Black or White and in 32-inch or 36-inch lengths, this door bottom sweep makes it easy to select the finish and length that best matches your door.

Durable Aluminum U-Wrap Design

The U-shaped aluminum body wraps around the bottom of the door for a clean, secure installation. The profile features a 1-3/8″ inside width and 7/8″ height, providing coverage around the lower portion of compatible doors.

Unlike a conventional flat door sweep mounted only to one face of the door, the U-wrap configuration provides support around the door bottom while keeping the installation neat and professional.

1/2″ Flexible Bottom Weather Seal

A flexible 1/2″ bottom seal helps close the space between the door and threshold or floor surface. This additional barrier can help reduce unwanted air movement beneath the door and improve protection against everyday outdoor conditions.

By reducing gaps at the bottom of the door, the sweep can also help maintain a more comfortable indoor environment during both warm and cold seasons.

Available in Black or White

Choose the finish that works best with your existing door and hardware:

Black – A clean, modern finish that coordinates well with dark doors, black hardware and contemporary exterior applications.

White – A bright, neutral finish ideal for white and light-colored doors and trim.

Both colors use the same U-shaped profile and bottom sealing design.

Choose 32″ or 36″ Length

Two lengths are available to accommodate common door applications:

32″ Length – Available in Black or White
36″ Length – Available in Black or White

Select the appropriate color and length before adding the door sweep to your cart.

Where Can This Door Bottom Sweep Be Used?

This U-shaped door bottom sweep is suitable for a variety of applications, including exterior entry doors, interior doors, residential doors, utility-room doors, garage entry doors and other compatible door installations where a bottom gap needs to be sealed.

It is especially useful when replacing a worn or damaged door bottom seal or when upgrading an existing door to help improve draft and weather protection.

Helps Reduce Drafts and Improve Weather Protection

Open gaps underneath doors can allow outside air to enter and conditioned indoor air to escape. Installing a properly fitted U shaped door bottom sweep helps create an additional barrier at this vulnerable area.

The flexible bottom seal can help reduce drafts and provide additional protection against wind and everyday outdoor exposure while allowing the door to operate normally when properly installed.

Clean No-Drip Profile

This model uses a no-drip U-wrap design, providing a streamlined appearance along the bottom of the door without an extended drip cap. The profile is a good choice when a simple, compact door-bottom sealing solution is preferred.

How to Install

Before installation, verify your door thickness and required length against the product dimensions. Remove the existing bottom sweep or seal when necessary and clean the bottom portion of the door.

Position the U-shaped sweep over the bottom of the door with the flexible seal facing downward. Check that the seal makes appropriate contact with the threshold or floor without preventing the door from opening and closing properly. Secure the sweep appropriately for your installation.
