We ordered this splash guard as a replacement piece for our frameless shower door. We were able to cut off a couple inches very easily to customize the fit perfectly for our door, which is very convenient. It was easy to install and it looks great! I bought this when I had finally had enough of fighting with my sliding glass patio door every time I wanted to go in or out of the house. It was to the point where my wife literally couldn't open it or close it sometimes. A window and door company came out and looked at it and quoted an obscene amount of money to replace the door- like $5000... I did a bit of detective work, discovered that the bottom track was actually cracked and was collapsing towards the end of the door travel and decided to take a shot at replacing the track with this. Now the door glides open and closes like it is magnetically levitating! It never worked even close to this well even when the door was brand new!! I can not adequately describe just how much this simple track replacement absolutely transformed the door! And the best part is that this track swap was actually very easy and quick to do. The hardest part is just getting your glass door out of the track in the first place. From start to finish the entire process took about 10 minutes. Is it a good value? Although the track is stupidly overpriced for what it is, the amount of money you will save by not having to replace your door makes it a really good value. If you are in a similar situation to mine I would highly recommend pinching your nose and just pressing the buy button. Once your door is gliding effortlessly you won't remember how much you paid for the track! 🙂 You're welcome!
